Account & subscriptions

ACCOUNT / SUBSCRIPTION

Do I need an email address to create an account?

No email address is required. Create an account with a username and password. Choose a username you can keep track of and a password you don’t use on other sites. After creating your account, make sure you can sign in to the user panel before choosing a plan or setting up your devices. Since account access doesn’t rely on email, keep your login details somewhere safe rather than counting on email recovery. Before saving your password in a browser, make sure you’re using your own device. Sign out when you’re done on a shared device. If you have trouble signing in, submit a support ticket through the user panel if you can still access it, and describe where the problem occurs. Never include your password in a ticket.

Where can I find my subscription link, and how do I update it in my client?

Sign in to the user panel and look for the subscription section in your account overview. Import the subscription into the client on the device you want to use. To refresh the route list later, find the subscription in your client and choose Update subscription or Refresh configuration. Once the update finishes, check the available regions. You usually don’t need to delete your entire client configuration just to refresh the route list. If the update fails, check your account’s subscription status and local network, then return to the panel to retrieve the latest subscription details. Replace the old link only if the one shown in the panel has changed. Your subscription link acts like an account credential. Don’t share it in public posts, screenshots, or shared documents, and obscure the full link when troubleshooting.

Do I need to choose a new plan when I switch devices? Which platforms are supported?

VPNJF has no limit on the number of devices connected at the same time and supports Windows / macOS / iOS / Android / Linux. To switch devices, sign in to your existing account and check your plan status. Then open the client section of the user panel, get setup instructions for your platform, and import your subscription. You don’t need to choose a new plan just because you’ve changed devices. Device connections and plan data are separate: unlimited devices don’t mean unlimited data. Check your plan and data usage in the panel before use. Before handing an old device to someone else, remove its subscription configuration and sign out of your account so your account details don’t go with it.

What’s the difference between a subscription link and a client? How can I tell if the import worked?

The client is the software on your device that connects to routes. The subscription link gives the client the route configuration associated with your account. Installing the client doesn’t import your subscription, and importing it doesn’t automatically connect you. After importing, check that the client shows available routes or a configuration name. Select a configuration and enable the connection. If the list is still empty, check whether the subscription update succeeded instead of repeatedly toggling the system proxy. Don’t keep opening the subscription link as if it were a regular web page, and don’t paste it into online conversion tools you don’t trust. To change your connection method, follow the instructions in the user panel or our guides.

Connections & troubleshooting

CONNECTION / DIAGNOSTICS

My client says it’s connected, but websites won’t load. What should I check first?

Pause the client connection and check whether your local network can still reach websites that normally work. If your basic connection is also down, troubleshoot your device’s internet connection or router first. Once your local network is working, reconnect the client and check that your subscription is valid, a route is selected, and the system proxy or network permissions are active. Then test a different, ordinary website rather than relying on just one destination. If nothing loads, update your subscription and try another region. If only one site fails, check that site’s account, region, or app rules. Change one setting at a time so you can tell what made a difference.

Why does my browser use the proxy, but a particular app doesn’t?

Your browser and other apps may use different network paths. Check whether the client is using rule mode or another connection method, and make sure the app or domain isn’t matched by a direct-connection rule. Also check whether the app has its own proxy settings. Some apps don’t use the system proxy automatically. Consult your client’s instructions to see whether you need full network routing or additional system permissions. A successful browser test doesn’t mean every app is connected. After changing settings, fully quit and reopen the app so it doesn’t keep using an old connection. If the issue persists, note the app name, platform, rule mode, and error message, then describe them in a support ticket.

What should I do if a subscription import fails or the route list is empty?

Return to the user panel and check that you’re signed in to the right account, your plan is active, and the subscription section is available. When copying the link, make sure you haven’t included extra spaces, line breaks, or explanatory text. Confirm that the client expects a subscription link, not a web page address or a different configuration format. With your local network working, try importing or updating again and check the exact error shown by the client. Keep any working configuration for now; don’t delete everything before you know what went wrong. If it still fails, send the error message, platform, and steps you tried. Hide subscription links and other sensitive account information in screenshots. Never post the full link publicly.

What if I mishandled a system permission prompt or have multiple network tools running?

If the connection setup needs system network permission, first make sure the prompt comes from the client you’re using, then grant permission in your system settings. If you previously denied permission, follow the client’s instructions to check system settings; you don’t need to keep importing the subscription. If other proxy, network routing, or route-changing tools are running on your device, keep the client you want to use and pause the others before trying again. This helps prevent settings from conflicting. Note the original settings so you can restore them. If you still can’t connect after quitting the client, check for a leftover system proxy and use your system settings to restore your usual network setup before troubleshooting further.

Speed & routes

REGION / ROUTING

When choosing a route for the first time, should I pick a nearby region or the region where my destination service is based?

Choose a region based on what you need, then compare how the connection performs. For everyday browsing and tools, you can start with a nearby region, but a shorter distance doesn’t always mean a shorter route. Your local provider, cross-border routing, and the destination service can all affect performance. If a service requires access from a particular region, choose a matching region first and test whether it works. VPNJF covers 110+ countries / 220+ routes. Visit the server page for route categories and selection tips. For a fair comparison, use the same app and similar conditions. Don’t change regions, video quality, and local network settings all at once, and don’t draw conclusions from a single test.

How can I tell whether slowdowns or video buffering during peak hours are caused by my local network or the route?

Pause background downloads, cloud sync, and other network-heavy tasks, then compare your connection with and without the client. If regular websites are also slow on the same device, check your Wi-Fi signal, router, and local network first. If your local connection is fine but the current route is slow, switch routes or regions in the same app and see whether the issue changes. Video buffering can also be caused by the streaming service, playback quality, or account restrictions, so it doesn’t automatically point to a subscription issue. When reporting a problem, include when it happened, your local network type, the service you were using, and the routes you tried. Include any error messages; that’s more useful than simply saying it was slow.

What do IEPL, relay, and direct connection mean?

These terms describe how a route is connected and traffic is carried; they don’t guarantee a particular speed every time. An IEPL route generally uses dedicated-line resources. A relay route forwards traffic through an intermediate node, while a direct connection connects to the destination route without that intermediate hop. Actual performance still depends on your local network, routing, and the destination service, so the route name alone can’t tell you which will be faster. Choose a region that suits your needs, then test websites, apps, or streaming on your own device at the times you normally use them. The server page explains route categories. The options available in your client depend on your latest subscription update. If something seems wrong, try another route and compare under the same conditions.

Why can’t I access a streaming service or AI tool after switching regions?

The route region is just one factor a service may use to determine access. Your account’s region, sign-in status, app cache, payment details, and the service’s own policies can also affect the result. Make sure the client is using the intended region and that the app is actually routed through the proxy. Then fully quit and reopen the app. If needed, follow the service’s official guidance for managing your session or cache. Repeatedly switching regions isn’t a substitute for troubleshooting, and reaching a sign-in page doesn’t mean every feature will work. If other websites work but the service still shows an error, keep the exact error text and submit a ticket with the service name and route region. A network route can’t replace account eligibility or service permissions.

Billing & refunds

BILLING / REFUNDS

What monthly plans are available, and when does data reset?

Monthly plans are ¥9.9/month for 60GB, ¥18/month for 250GB, and ¥28/month for 500GB. Data resets monthly on the day you activated your plan, not at the start of each calendar month. Sign in to the user panel to check your account status. Choose a plan based on your typical browsing, file transfers, and video use. You don’t need a larger data allowance just because you use more devices: simultaneous device connections and plan data are separate. If you’re running low on data or aren’t sure about your plan status, check the panel before making changes. Seeing routes in your client doesn’t by itself confirm that your plan is active.

How do lifetime data packages differ from monthly plans?

Data packages cost ¥158 for 300GB, ¥358 for 1000GB, and ¥658 for 3000GB. They expire only when used up and don’t expire over time. Monthly plans reset data on your activation date each month. The main difference is how you use the data: consider whether you connect regularly or only from time to time, rather than comparing the price alone. “Doesn’t expire” describes the package’s validity period; it doesn’t mean the data is unlimited. If you already have a plan and want to choose a different billing option, check your current status and the instructions in the user panel before proceeding. Don’t assume data from different products will automatically combine, be used in a particular order, or convert between plans.

What happens if I upgrade partway through a plan? What should I do if my payment goes through but nothing changes?

When you upgrade a monthly plan partway through, the price difference is converted into remaining days. Check the order and account status shown in the user panel for the actual adjustment. Don’t calculate a full month yourself and pay again based on that estimate. VPNJF supports Alipay / WeChat / USDT. If your status hasn’t changed after payment, check your order and account pages, and keep your payment receipt. Don’t create the same order again just because the client hasn’t updated yet. If the payment provider shows the payment as complete but the panel hasn’t updated, submit a support ticket with the relevant order details and a description of the issue. Hide any sensitive information on the receipt that isn’t needed to verify the payment, and keep the original order record while the issue is being reviewed.

How do I request a refund, and what should I prepare?

VPNJF offers a 30-day no-questions-asked refund. To request one, sign in to the user panel, open the support ticket section, clearly state that you want a refund, and provide the relevant order details so the payment and account records can be checked. See the refund terms in the Terms of Service for eligibility details. If you’re also experiencing connection issues, include your device platform, the client’s error message, and the steps you’ve tried. This can help distinguish a technical issue from a refund request. Don’t share account details on public pages. Continue the conversation in the same ticket and keep your order and payment records. Never send your password or full subscription link. Check the refund status in the user panel; don’t assume a processing time or outcome.
